Guildford GB Just trying to put
This bracket isn’t strong enough to hold up a 55” tv straight. The final part for the bracket says forward at an angle and holds the TV angled. Tightening the screws doesn’t help - weak plastic brushes.

Strong and robust.
I put a 55” TV on the wall with it, and cannot quite get a full 180 turn.

Questions people have asked owners of the B-Tech Ultra Slim Double Arm Cantilever TV Bracket

  1. Jason asked on
My tv is 300 x 200 led will this bracket fit
    1. Andrew replied on
My tv is a lg 55 smart TV
      I believe it uses 300 200 fixings
I had no problems you can check LG spec to confirm
  2. Glenn asked on
The Samsung tv I will fit to the bracket is 21 kg and 55 inch. Will this bracket hold it firmly in place of continuously moves and swivelled
    1. HELEN replied on
My TV is also a Samsung but smaller approx 43cms, I don’t know what it weighs. I have been using the bracket for nearly two years and am still very pleased with it. I have not been conscious at any time of it moving on it’s own though the hinges are now freer than they were when it was new. I have it screwed to the side of the fireplace out of sight until I want to watch it and so it is moved several times every day.

    2. HELEN replied on
I am still very satisfied with it. The hinges have worked looser, I use it every day, but it still seems very stable. I would certainly buy it again
  3. Amit asked on
Hi guys, I'm trying to install a TV within a recessed section, so there is only 20mm gap around the TV. Does this bracket have adjustment screws to level the TV once installed, so I can fine tune the gap.
    1. Ralph replied on
So far as I can tell, the simple answer is no. It is a finely engineered piece of kit but in concentrating on how to support 36kg solidly at full stretch the designers have not included additional vertical adjustment. Horizontal adjustment is no problem with the slider plate, and rotational leveling is easy with the centre-plate adjusters but vertically I can think of only two options if you don't hit lucky with the assembly as is. After all, even the most fastidious attention to measurement and setting out can still be thrown off by the vagaries of an electric drill. One is to bolt the back bracket to a home-made vertical slotted channel to allow up/down sliding at the wall face. The other is to ream out the metal between the nearest fitting two bolt holes in the upper sections of the interface arms and use the resulting slot to make fine adjustments. This means strongly tightening the fixing bolts into the back of the TV to prevent gentle migration under gravity and maybe using slivers of fine wet-or-dry sandpaper as grip-washers. A word of warning - even an LED TV needs good ventilation - sitting it into a neat recess without a free-flowing source of cool air or ventilating fan might not be good for it.

  4. Steve asked on
Can the bracket be turned upside down and used, as the centre point when flush to the wall is offset 10cm?
    1. Ross replied on
I don't see why not. I can't remember if there are washers top and bottom of the joints to support this though I'm pretty sure you should be ok. Hope it helps?
    2. HELEN replied on
It can certainly be turned upside down so it can swing in either direction - I have it fitted to the side of the chimney breast and only pull it into the room when I want to watch it. Including my TV it projects 12cm from the wall when it is folded away. Hope this helps?
  5. roger asked on
    Is this arm motorised ?
    1. Dave replied on
No not motorised and it is not very good as it will not support the weight claimed by the manufacturers unless you like your tv to be like a fish hanging on a fishing line.
