What does VESA mean?
VESA is the name for the standardisation of mounting holes on the rear of TVs, monitors and other screens. The number which follows the word VESA shows the size of the mounting holes. For example, VESA 400 or VESA 400x400 shows the mounting holes are 400mm x 400mm apart.
How do I find out what my VESA is?
To find your VESA out, have a look behind your TV. You’ll find 4 mounting holes in a square or rectangle shape. If you measure the distance between these holes from the centre of each you’ll find your VESA size.

What is a Fixed VESA Bracket?
A Fixed VESA Bracket means the holes are pre-drilled in fixed positions and can only cater to the standard VESA sizes stated.
What is a Universal VESA Bracket?
A Universal VESA Bracket means the bracket is adjustable to cater for a range of standard VESA sizes as well as allowing for everything between to cater for non-standard VESA sizes.
What are bracket types?
Brackets come in multiple types, each type will have a specific capability so you’re able to narrow down exactly what you want from your bracket.
Flat
A Flat Bracket is a bracket which is flat to the wall and doesn’t offer any features. These are ideal if you’d prefer to have your screen mounted as flat as possible to the wall without any worry or any need to move it.
Tilting
A Tilting Bracket is a bracket is much like a flat bracket however with the addition of a tilt feature. These brackets are perfect for the living room or for the bedroom so you’re able to tilt the screen down towards the sofa or bed to achieve the perfect viewing angle.
Cantilever
A Cantilever Bracket is a bracket which offers the most versatility. These brackets feature the ability to pull off the wall and be rotated, making them the perfect bracket for corners, alcoves or easy access to the rear of the screen for cables.
Motorised
A Motorised Bracket offers the same features as the Cantilever bracket but with one major addition, the ability to move and control the bracket remotely without the need of manually moving it.
