Handcrafted headboard with a tasteful, plain design with deep padding for a luxurious look and feel. The sturdy headboard is made from a 15mm thick wood panel and 35mm deep reflex foam padding providing comfort and support when sat up in bed. Supplied with solid mahogany struts, the extra chunky struts ensure the headboard is stable once installed. The headboard is compatible with all standard UK size bases. The headboard itself is supplied assembled, but does require fitting to the bed.

Loumarie is an attractive, soft touch upholstery fabric with an almost brushed suede appearance, the highly textured, woven fabric gives an expensive appearance. The first recorded use of this type of fabric dates back to 200AD in Egypt but the material has been developed and enhanced many times since then. Our version takes inspiration from 18th century France where it was known to be used by royalty, this version was later exported to Britain where it would become known as King’s cloth. Loumarie corded fabric uses the same weaving style and cotton fibres as was seen in 18th Century Paris with the addition of some Polyester fibres to improve durability making. Loumarie is a stylish upholstery fabric, rich in heritage, texture and quality.
