The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions with The Plasma Centre. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

General

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

Making A Purchase: The friendly online store. 

Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout Basket' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all Major Credit Cards except American Express cards.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship - even after you have completed tha card payment form no money is taken from your account until we have confirmed all items purchased are in stock and are ready for delivery to you.

If you prefer to make your purchase over the telephone rather than using the secure payment facility on-line - then please just call us on 08444 77 98 98. This number is not a premium line - all calls will be charged at standard low cost local rates.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Security
Credit Card Security when the order is placed at our website is our highest priority. Credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. All information goes direct to Protx - they are a secure online payment company who work direct with the banks. We do not see any of your card information when you place an order 

Description of Goods
All the products we sell are of a technical nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites.
All accessories supplied with a product are subject to upgrade or change at the manufacturers discretion. We will supply the product(s) as supplied to us by the manufacturer. Accessories include Memory Cards/Sticks, brackets and TV Stands/Cabinets. This list is not exhaustive.


Competitor Prices
Wherever quoted, competitor prices are from Comet, Dixons, Currys or Argos. The pricing information have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer's, retailers, publications, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of The Plasma Centre is that all prices published should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, The Plasma Centre cannot guarantee the reliability and accuracy of the information published. All the actions taken by the user are the responsibility of the individual.

Accuracy of Product Information
All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of The Plasma Centre is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, The Plasma Centre cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.

Bracket Database
The information contained on this website  is provided in good faith, and every reasonable effort is made to ensure that it is accurate and up to date.
The information and specifications on the bracket database are constantly changing in the interest of improvements. Whilst every care has been taken in the preparation of these services, some changes may not have been indicated and may have occurred after publication. The information contained on this website may be changed or updated at any time without notice. The bracket database should be used as a guide only. The customer is responsible for checking that the bracket purchased is suitable for their TV. Care should also be taken to ensure that the bracket chosen is suitable for the wall on which it is to be mounted. The Plasma Centre only ever recommends that the customer should consult a specialist installer / builder for installation advice.

Payment and Price 
All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT and delivery charges - the price you see is the price you pay. No hidden charges.
The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).

Payment Methods
On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 5 days.

Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges
All our prices include next day delivery as standard - the price you see is the price you pay (for most mainland UK addresses). No hidden charges. You can upgrade to a timed delivery or a Saturday delivery service - you simply select these options at tha basket page. 
Free delivery quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland(BT), Isle of Man(IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles(PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles(HS, ZE) will incur an additional charge which can be selected at the basket page. and may also experience delivery delays. Before 12.30pm week day and Saturday deliveries are optional for an additional charge. These can be selected and prices are clearly shown during the ordering process.

Delivery Times
Next day delivery is normally available for stock items, on orders processed and payments cleared before 3.00pm. Delivery of other items may take up to 10 working days from clearance of payment. We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. We will endeavour to meet any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods but shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. There are occasions where the demand on certain products outstrips supply and in these cases delivery will be more than 14 working days. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.
Please note that we cannot be held liable for any costs incurred to you due to a late delivery or damaged goods during transit. If the goods are delivered late we will however refund you any delivery charges from your invoice.

Risk
As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims
Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 7 days from delivery.
Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 10 days from delivery.

In-Correct Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods supplied within 7 days from delivery.
Non-Deliveries: We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date.
If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card account.

Product Guarantees -General
All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturer's Guarantee for a period of 12 months. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance (cleaning of dirty audio/video heads etc.), consumables (styli, plug fuses, cables, batteries, etc.), cosmetic damage and tuning of channels is not covered. THE FULL COST OF THE SERVICE CALL WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT IF OUR ENGINEERS FIND NO MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL FAULT WITH YOUR PRODUCT. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.


EXTENDED RETURNS POLICY
No Fault Returns
If for any reason you wish to return your product you can do so up to 28 Days* from the purchase date. Provided your purchase is returned as new, in it's original condition and unopened (all seals and shrink wrap intact) then we will issue you a full refund for the price you have paid less any delivery charges.
*Note: Our returns guarantee for large items delivered by our specialist courier is limited to 14 days from receipt of goods.
Our extended Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights and if you open the goods to inspect them you can still cancel your purchase at any time up to 7 working days following the day the goods are delivered as described below:
Distance Selling Regulations
You are entitled to withdraw from this contract within 7 working days from delivery of the goods for a full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. The goods must be unused and ‘as new’ with their original box and packaging including all manuals and accessories. If you have opened the box to examine the goods you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. The goods must not have been used or assembled. You have a duty of care whilst the goods are in your possession and as such we advise you to return the goods with their original packaging to ensure they are not damaged during transit to us. Goods received back incomplete or in a damaged or used condition will either be returned to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account or we reserve the right to levy a surcharge on such returned goods at a minimum 15% of the invoice price. You must notify us within 7 days from date of delivery and we will issue you with a Returns Authorisation Number. Returns Authorisation number will be valid for 14 days and it will be your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk.

Faulty Returns – Dead on Arrival.
A product is deemed to be ‘dead on arrival’ if it shows symptoms of hardware failure preventing basic operation upon its first use out of the box. In such instances please contact our customer support helpline within 7 days from the delivery date. You can then either return the faulty item directly yourself or we will organise a collection from your home. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault by our technical engineers you will be offered the following options:
1. A replacement – this item will be shipped to you at our own expense.
2. A repair – the repaired item will be shipped to you at our own expense. Please note that once repaired the product is no longer eligible for replacement.
3. A full refund – provided the item has been verified faulty and is complete with all accessories with its original box and packaging.
If the product is not deemed to be faulty by our technicians then you will be offered the following options:
1. Return of the goods – the cost of delivery charged to you.
2. Refund – the invoice cost less any applicable delivery charges provided the product is ‘as new’ and complete with all accessories and with its original box and packaging. If the condition of the product or the packaging is poor then we reserve the right to impose a charge to cover re-packaging costs. Missing accessories will also be charged to you.
The manufacturers guarantee will apply to all items reported to be faulty after 7 days from delivery.
This returns policy does not affect your legal rights.

Privacy of information
The Plasma Centre is committed to protecting your privacy.

We will only collect and use information about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information we collect is used to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. We collect only your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number and Credit/Debit card details. The Plasma Centre does not sell or pass any customers personal information, including e-mail addresses to any other organisation for any purpose other than for processing or validating orders you place with us.
To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we may validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered credit reference agency or fraud prevention agency which may keep a record of that information. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
The information we hold will be accurate, and where necessary, kept up to date.  Information will not be kept for longer than is necessary. You can check the information we hold about you by contacting us via e-mail.  Any errors you find will be corrected promptly. Data held about you will be done so securely and will not be transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area. From time to time if you "opt-in" we may send you information via e-mail or post to inform you of changes to our website or inform you of special offers. We will always provide an “opt-out” or “unsubscribe” option to allow you to stop any further mailings if you wish.

Freeview
The majority of UK homes are now able to receive FREEVIEW. However, to avoid disappointment, we do recommend that you check your postcode is in a FREEVIEW coverage area - BEFORE you buy. Go to www.freeview.co.uk to check your post code.
If you are in coverage you should be able to receive FREEVIEW with your existing rooftop or loft aerial, provided they are in good condition. However, you may still experience poor quality digital reception and therefore need to get your aerial installation checked.

In some parts of the country FREEVIEW signals use a different frequency or transmitter from your existing analogue service and therefore we recommend you fit a “wideband” type of aerial. The post code check service at www.freeview.co.uk tells you if this applies to where you live.
The Plasma Centre cannot therefore guarantee that a Freeview service will work in your area and therefore cannot accept this as a fault with the TV or digital box.

The Plasma Centre assumes no responsibilty for the information created and shown by third party websites. The Plasma Centre has no responsibilty for any products purchased through a third aprty supplier and as such any problems, warranty claims or discrepancies must be made directly to the third party supplier.

Other
You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We will issue you with an electronic invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
