The range of LED TVs has grown significantly in the past 18 months. Originally when LED TVs launched there were only a handful of models available and the majority of these were manufactured by Samsung. They priced at the top of the market as almost all items with new technology are which made them unavailable to the masses. As a result only a few accessory products were designed to be used with them and these were priced at a premium to reflect the cost of the TVs. Now however, the market is unrecognisable from the one 2 years ago. There are over 100 different LED TV models available from all the major manufacturers in almost every size which an LCD was previously available. One of the biggest benefits of this mass production has meant that the price of LED TVs has dropped significantly making this new technology available to a wider market and taking away the exclusivity to those with more disposable income. A second benefit is that the range of TV stands, brackets and other accessories available has grown alongside the range of TVs in the market.
