Alphason has launched a new range of premium stands designed in-house by the companys young designers, appropriately named Design First. It consists of 12 models, which will retail from 199 to 500. Their design varies from more traditional wood products to very minimalist modern concepts matching all consumers tastes.

Alphasons philosophy behind the Alphason Design First collection of TV stands is that each stand has to go on a meticulously thorough journey, ensuring they meet the highest standards of innovation and excellence for which Alphason has become renowned. From the lightbulb moment inside the designers mind, to the many hours of research, refinement and rigorous testing, Alphason are always challenging themselves to improve every last detail of the design, whether it be a high end piece of furniture or an everyday accessory. Only this way could they continue to offer a range of products that are ingenious, aesthetically appealing and of the very highest quality.

Alphasons commercial director Paul McCarthy explained to IER recently, the thinking behind the launch: The new range is a result of in-depth market research and a revaluation of Alphasons offer, which led us to the conclusion that design is of prime importance in this market sector at present. Therefore to reinforce our design credentials we established a relationship with Salford and Staffordshire Universities. Their design students take summer placements in Alphason. A part of their coursework is to design a TV stand and we take the best designs to the market. For example, the Pebble model has been created by Paul Humphries, a young designer who was on a placement with us.

The Alphason Design First range is supported by videos, booklets, leaflets and social media.
